Writing a college application essay doesn’t have to be the monster in the room. My essay coaching and editing services guide students through the writing process unscathed. You should enjoy finding your narrative voice and looking inward to reveal your true self through your application. So, the question remains . . . What’s your story?

Essay GPS

I’m the GPS, and you’re the driver. I won’t write the essays for you, but I’ll provide guidance for a stress-free approach to the process, from brainstorming topic choices and essay structures to creative writing techniques and final edits. The key is crafting an overall narrative to your entire application (essays, activity lists, etc.), making it easy for admissions to say, “You’re in!”

Meet Jess…

Jessica has been teaching writing for 25 years and has spent the last two decades coaching thousands of students to craft college essays. With experience as a publicist, teacher, curriculum designer, writer, editor, and mom, she provides a unique skill set that enables her to connect quickly with students and help them define themselves through storytelling.

Jessica’s students have earned acceptances from the Ivy League, Big Ten schools, small liberal arts colleges, and many more. She believes students at every writing level have the ability to tell their stories— they just need the right tools and guidance.

When Jess isn’t guiding acceptance-worthy essays, she’s reveling in being a boy mom to her three sons, finding zen on her yoga mat, or hiking with her pup, Maisy, near their home outside of NYC.
